Working Out Should Reduce Stress

Not add to it…

You should feel better, not worse

You should have more energy, not less

You should enjoy what you’re doing, maybe you even look foward to it.

A workout is a workout.

All of the above should be true. If you don’t have an hour, try 40 minutes. If you don’t have 40 try 20 minutes.

Hell, if you don’t have 20 minutes try 4 minutes. Look up what are called “Tabata” workouts where you set a timer for 8 rounds of 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off, do the same thing for all 8 sets.

If you can’t make it to the gym do something before you take a shower in the morning or at night. Pushups, sit-ups, and squats are a staple for a reason.

We already have plenty of stress in our lives

Our jobs, relationships, finances all play a role in how our body works.

This is your “me time”. This is to make you better. This is to give a gentle nod to your body and say “thank you for for what you do for me everyday.”

Do something today that makes you better.
