Making Training Simple

People make fitness so hard

It doesn’t have to be.

you need to ask yourself

what is my desired outcome?” In this case “stimulus” and “outcome” would be synonymous. You have to DO something to your body in order for it to change. Ya know', adaptation and all that jazz.

If you’re confused why you’re doing something, your body is probably confused as well.

Possible outcomes

So let’s say my desired “outcome” is to get strong. Great, how can I challenge my muscles over a long period of time, that progresses as I gain strength?

Let’s say you want to get in shape. How are you stimulating your lungs and your heart so that they become more efficient at working to keep your body healthy?

Let’s say you want to lose weight, what are you doing to put your body in a caloric deficit?

Each of these questions can be answered in a myriad of ways

But none of them should be difficult to answer. What’s more important than anything is the intention you set for yourself each day to answer that simple question at the top. What is my desired outcome?

It can change day to day or week to week, but fitness is as simple as time multiplied by consistency.

Don't forget

If your goals change or life happens to get in the way, a perfectly reasonable outcome is just to sweat. To get tired, to move my body, or even to just do something.

At the end of the day, doing what you enjoy, and surrounding yourself with positive people will be the biggest factors in creating consistency over time.

Fitness is easy, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
